I made a phone call to a Belgian Mobile Viking while in Belgium, but got charged for it anyway. How come?

There may be 2 reasons for this:

  1. Your Viking advantage may have expired. By default, the Viking advantage is valid for 1 calendar month. It therefore expires together with your bundle of free texts and mobile data and cannot be brought forward to the next month, like your calling credit.
  2. The 60 minutes are valid from 00.01 am to midnight. A telephone call which continues into the next day shall not automatically be added to your free call minutes for that next day. Suppose you make a call from 11.55 pm to 00.05 am. In that case ,the last 5 minutes will be deducted from your phone calling credit. The reason? The package of 60 free minutes for the next day cannot be activated during a phone call. The part of the conversation after midnight therefore becomes paid.
